Ski Touring Trip in Rila and Pirin National Parks
Overview
This classical ski touring itinerary will meet you with the most famous ski touring areas in the mountain ranges of Rila and Pirin - Musala peak, Malyovitsa, Seven rila lakes, Bansko area and Mount Polezan. Over 5 ski days we will enjoy some great ski terrain suitable for both intermediate and expert skiers. The tours we have selected in the itinerary are not too strenuous, but still require previous ski touring experience and good physical preparation.Rila will impress you with vast terrains, rugged granite ridges and big glaciers lakes(of course frozen in winter)! :)
While Pirin we leave you great memeries of skiing wide and long slopes surrounded by steep peaks and narrow ridges.
The best season to do this tour is between February and April. While in February and until mid March you have good chances to enjoy some cold powdery snow, late March and April will deliver spring skiing and longer days!
