Professional experience: Margi works as a mountain leader since 2009, both with individuals and larger organized groups, English and Spanish speaking. Work as an instructor in children holiday camps. Has worked as a ski instructor in Bulgaria, the Austrian Alps – Tirol, also in Chile for a season.
Experience in the mountains: Quite often in Rila, Pirin, Rhodopes and Balkan mountains – on a bike, on foot or on skis. Been to the mountains of Turkey, Macedonia, Romania, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Croatia, Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
Travel experience: Long distance bike trips in Morocco and Spain. Hiking, climbing and ski trips to Turkey, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Italy, UK, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Armenia and Chile. Margi is one of the founders of Travellers Club Bulgaria.

Trekking in Bulgaria, June 2017
Margarita was guiding our trekking group from Ireland in the Bulgarian mountains for a week and we were greatly impressed by her professionalism and dedication. We have received very positive reviews from the group and from our guides, who worked with Margarita on the tour. I (office manager and tour organiser) was very happy to have found her and Alexander, for I knew that the group was in safe hands and that all will go well.
