Experience in the mountains: Knows the mountains of Bulgaria very well, been to Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa Massif, Mount Triglav in Slovenia, Grossglockner, Dufourspitze area in the Alps. Ordesa National Park in Pyrenees (Mount Monte Perdito). Been to the mountains of Albania, Macedonia, Greece and Montenegro, Mount Damavand in Iran, Mount Ararat in Turkey, trekking in Himalayas.
Interests: hiking, cycling, mountaineering, climbing, skiing, mountain rescue, travelling, Bulgarian folk dances and singing, Bulgarian bagpipe, Birdwatching.

Dana, USA: Great snowshoeing adventure with Ivo
My husband and I were visiting friends in Sofia last week and wanted to do something special for our anniversary. Our friends had been snowshoeing with Lyuben before and highly recommended it for an out of the ordinary adventure. We connected with Ivo, who planned a day on Vitosha mountain. He was great to work with because he gave us options, answered our questions, and made a recommendation based on our opinions and level of experience. We ended up with the perfect level of challenge! Ivo was also incredibly accommodating, meeting us at our friend’s home and riding up the mountain in our car. He had everything planned out and arranged, so we really didn’t have to worry about a thing. It was great to talk to someone from Bulgaria for many hours – we learned a lot about the country and Ivo was very friendly. We had a great time and would definitely recommend working with Lyuben and Ivo to plan an outdoor adventure when you’re in Bulgaria!
