Professional experience: Works with people in the outdoors since 2000 – as an instructor in Outward Bound Bulgaria and Educo Bulgaria. Trainer in a number of corporate events, organized by Develor Bulgaria. The skills for working with people and the love to the mountains are the driving force for her to choose the profession of mountain guide. Leads Bulgarian and foreign trekking groups around her home high mountains. Participates in the organization and conduct of many courses and camps for children.
Experience in the mountains: Nelly spends the summer on the rocks and the trails, as well as in Bulgarian high mountains – Rila, Pirin, the Rhodopes, Stara Planina and in the mountains around the world. Many climbing trips in the Alps and the mountains of Greece, Macedonia, Romania, South Africa, mountain trekking in the Andes (with climbing the volcano El Misti, 5822) and Nepalese Himalayas (Tour of Manaslu and Annapurna). During the winter works as a ski instructor in Bulgaria and Austria. Many winter ski trips in the Bulgarian mountains, French and Austrian Alps, Serbia and Greece.
Travel experience: Climbing and skiing trips in Macedonia, Greece, Serbia, Romania, France, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, South Africa, hiking in South America, Nepal, cultural visits in the United States, Ukraine, Ireland and Spain.
Interests: Rock climbing, skiing, hiking, mountain biking.

2007 – Bachelor degree in History of Bulgaria and the Balkans, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”;
2006 – Participation in seminars organized by the Robert Schuman Institute and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung;
2001 – Driving License, active driver.
